Project Homeless Connect

Project Homeless Connect is an annual day of free services and resources – all under one roof – for those who are homeless or living in poverty. Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is a one-stop venue of social service providers ready to work on-the-spot with people in-need.

Highlights of PHC 2011 –
321 attendees, 41 of whom identified themselves as veterans
60 organizations providing services and resources
95 volunteers from the community
200 pairs of boots given away
87 haircuts given
40 gallons of coffee served
100 C-Tran day bus passes distributed

It’s part of the plan

Based on a national model, partners in Clark County hosted the first local Project Homeless Connect in 2008. Each year, we build on that success. Project Homeless Connect is an important part of our community’s 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness.
